Elegant atmosphere with excellent wait staff. Here with friends and had the while fish. It was deboned at table side, moist and deliciously fresh served with green beans and a salad. Yum. Friend had a huge pork chop he loved

This is my favorite Italian restaurant - hands down. The seafood salad is so fresh and full of flavor. And the salt-crusted snapper can't be beat. So good!

My sister in law recommended this restaurant to me during my stay in boca. The restaurant was easy to find with complimentary valet parking. I was seated at the bar by the gracious owner Sal. I ordered a veal dish and was served a delicious house salad and warm bread and an order of bruschetta! My veal had a cream sauce much rooms and spinach, fork tender. I ate it all! Had a half bottle of Chianti for $20. It is a dressy place but the service was great and I felt very comfortable dining at the bar. The decor is classy but comfortable and all the guests seemed to enjoy their food.

Impeccable . Had dinner there last night, superb veal (spinach and mushrooms) and a fantastic 1/2 chicken w/ sausage seasoning! Sal and wait staff were excellent, very fresh bread and salad, and if you can still handle it, the dessert cart was worth the extra calories. Prices were more than fair (especially compared to New York, Boston and Hartford's finest). Definitely will return!

Quality food, somewhat expensive. Will accommodate off-menu special requests. My wife and I have enjoyed the chicken and pasta dishes.

We tried this restaurant on a recent trip to the Boca Raton area. The service was very good but the food only so-so. Not bad but I've certainly had better. Flavorless food seems to be an overall theme for Boca restaurants. I might be better off sticking to known chain restaurants that can be counted on for consistency in their food. I expected better in an area known for its wealth and elite lifestyle.

Tries to be a higher end Italian restaurant and a fine dining experience. However, it took almost 1 1/2 hours for our meal to be served. And then the food came out lukewarm. Preparations would have been tasty had the food been served at the proper temperature. For the quality this restaurant aspires to be, their chicken and veal should be more tender than what we were served. Bottom line - there are many choices in this local area and we will not be returning.

Last nigh my bf and I stumbled upon this restaurant (our ages: 28 & 26). We first thought this was going to be one of the older crowd Boca places but we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely decor and wait staff. We ordered their wine of the month (Merlot) at a reasonable price and decides to go with the homemade sauce with peppers and onions. Mmmmmm! This app was so flavorful with just the right amount of spice. I had the chicken viletta with escarole and roasted potatoes. The chicken was very flavorful as well, the sauce was light and the balance between the eggplant prosciutto and cheese was great! My bf has the manicotti special (2- chicken spinach ricotta filled pastas). The flavor in the manicotti was good but I feel like for the price there should have been more meat or maybe a side of escarole. Overall the manicotti tasted a lot like my grandma's which I love! The meals came with side salads that were fresh, but really small. At the end of our meal the waiter brought over the huge dessert cart, but we didn't have room. Our overall experience was good, great service, flavorful food but a high price tag.

A premier dining experience. Small and extremely romantic. All of the staff is at your beckoned call . Certainly a place to return to time and time again.

We had a very good dining experience. The food was very good and the service impeccable. The reason for the three stars is that the food is overpriced. My husband asked for the sausage and onion appetizer to be made into a main meal. They accommodated the request with no issue but then proceeded to charge us $36 for an extra link of sausage. We have no problem paying for good food but really...?

This restaurant represents all that is wrong with Boca dining. It is overpriced, oversauced and overdone in every way. I could tolerate the obsequious waiters, trite decor and cliched menu if the food was good. It's not. Boca has a number of "classy" Italian/continental restaurants for the wine with dinner crowd. This is one of them.

Can't believe this place has been on Federal Hwy in North Boca for almost twenty years and I just tried it! Tucked away in a small strip center is this delicious upscale, authentic Italian restaurant. We walked in Summer, early evening with no reservation and were immediately seated in a private back booth. The booth and set up felt like an old mob movie where the Mafia Guys would hang out. I'm sure walking in peak season would not be so easy. All the old timers probably know about this place. Waiters bring out fresh bruschetta. I had the beef carpaccio app and lamb chops. Both fresh, and delicious. The lambs chops were thick, crusted and some of the best I ever had in some type of mushroom based sauce. Skipped dessert, but I'm sure it would have been great. Everything was consistently delicious with good service. Perfect for date, birthday or anniversary. Not for kids.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
